    Rams manager going to Swansea

Looks like a huge bet but Gary Rowett seems to be in the race for a Premiership Managers job - External Link

We're not going to be derailed this time. Rowett is not McClaren!

I made 2 replies to posts on this on FB.

    1. Dear Swansea, go forth and multiply

    2. Oi, Jenkins, remember your reply when we wanted to buy one of your players? What goes around, comes around. Do one!

In short, Hugh J****a can forget it!

Remember Hugh Jenkins when we tried to sign Ferrie Bodde. he said Why would he want to sign for a smaller club. Well we might be swapping divisions next year hopefully and with Cardiff as well 😀

Indeed. It was Bodde to whom I was referring in my comment number 2

Given his injury plagued career since our attempts to sign him, when his body has been ferried to one specialist after another, we should be thanking Jenkins for thwarting our attempts to sign him. His injury history makes George Thorne look a paragon of good health. So thank you Hugh and feel free to offer to buy out Rowett's contract for, say, 8 million and a couple of players

Why would Rowett want to go to a Premier team, with no pedigree, that's in free-fall?

Derby must be a much better stepping stone for him. There are few teams in England that would be a better prospect for him. If he get's us promoted and established in the Prem, surely a "really" bigger" club would come calling? Although, even they could be a poisoned chalice.
