could be summed up as 5 mins of madness, giving you 3 nice Crimbo pressies. Other than that we had our chances as well but did not take them, mores the pity. But you played well, although I think your team is starting to get old. Although Nugent had a well earned man of the match.

We are playing Wolves on Boxing day so will try to do you favour by taking points off them, won't be easy though.

P.S. What did you think of Meridith, you released him many moons ago.

Millwall huffed and puffed but can't shoot. A better team would have put 3 or 4 of those chances away, however, when you consider that we limited Villa to just 2 shots, both of which were straight at carson, last week, I can't help but think that we might be playing more openly against "lesser" sides".

As I said in another thread, it might also be because we struglle against 4 and 5 man midfields and against teams who play down the wings, simply due to our 2 man midfield and full backs playing 15 to 20 yards from the touchline.

'Wall were as "hard" as they always are and were given a lot of latitude by the ref IMO. We play them again at theirs at the end of January. That will probably be a more difficult game for us to win if we give them so much room in MF again.

The ball three times into the back of the net, foot off the gas and concede no goals, compose yourself and bring on the lads from the bench to keep'em happy.

Collect all three points and job done!
