Colt Teams

Just been speaking to a few Raith fans. Dead against the Colt teams. They will all chuck it if it happens. I havent spoke to one person who is for it yet.

They also said "Turnbull lives on at our club" so i doubt Raith are for it either.

Add them to the list of good guys

Stenhousemuir apparently have said they won't back the idea after a threat of a boycott from their fans.

This whole Colts thing cannot be allowed to happen. We are told that if it works for two years with the old (and new) scum then consideration will be given to letting other clubs do it. LIE.
Think about it. After two years say three other clubs ask to get in. How are they to be accommodated? If there is a 12 team 4th division how are an extra 3 teams to be fitted in? The 4 division becomes 15 teams? Then a few other teams apply. And since the Colts can't be promoted we create a 5th division for the Colts. In absolute effect a development league. So no benefit. If there is to be no benefit to the old (and new) scum then they won't tolerate it. So it is them and only them, killing any chance of competition in the top division. Game dead.

Just how long d`ye think it would be before the Cheeks , after getting the Colts up and running , asked for them to be allowed to be promotoed . " As the quality of competition in the lower league is stifling the development of their future Scotland stars ?? "

Once that`s in ; They both apply to join the English league , and leave the Colts to become their representatives in Scotland for European qualification etc. ( Loan deals from cross border teams to transfer enough decent players back when required. )
