And hs @rse stuck out like Max Wall.
I doubt anyone under 50 will know who Max Wall is

    £700k for about 6 goals?
Agreed. But I am not blaming Richardson for that one. May was always on McInnes’s radar.

To be fair, at the outset most of us were happy enough with the May signing I'd say.

He started off OK but was never right after the Rat did him.

By all accounts it's been more of the same at the Penny Dainties

    Absolutely that.

Pant pishers were clapping happily and happy clappers were pishing their pants on the day the signing was announced.

Thankfully, I subscribe to neither faction, and am happy to clap my pants, or pish happily as occasion demands.

^^^This,I was happy with the May signing at the time, just a shame it never worked out for both parties,he gave his all in a Dons shirt and he left with my best wishes, but i would say he's now f@cked as a top player, his serious injury has got the better of him

Aye he’s now not even getting a game for St Johnstone.
A shame - his knee has severely curtailed his career.
Nothing against the bloke at all.
Gave his all, but ultimately his body isn’t up to it any more

I think most people were aware at the time that his signing was a risk... but most were happy enough for us to take a punt on him. Turned out to be a very expensive mistake. As you say, he gave his all and worked hard - I felt sorry for the lad and wish him all the best, BUT McInnes persevered with him for too long. Most of us could see he was never going to get back to any kind of form - I guess McInnes just didn't want to give up on it due to the money he cost. I'd probably still rather have him than Curtis Main though.

I’d rather have Theresa May than Curtis Main.
