I did believe the propaganda(?) that we have one of the most advanced sports science setups in the country and also the notion that players would be better conditioned leaving a dressing room at Cormack Park than toddling over to the beach or the Broad Hill in extreme cold. Are the injuries all bad luck or is the fact that our strikers seem to break like digestive biscuits dropped on a marble floor a symptom of poor conditioning and preparation? The current fashion for blethering about 'game time' to get match fit reminds me of running about a rugby field in the dim and distant past and Andy Ripley (an English international but nevertheless a nice loon) emphasising, 'you don't play rugby to get ft, you get fit to play rugby'.
No pride, no passion, no accountability. Our Derek really is a top manager. His record against the bottom of the league clubs this season must be spectacular.
We have now dropped 18 points to the bottom 6 teams with a game against United still to come so very likely to hit the 20 point mark. An utter disgrace. That one statistic shows how far we have fallen as to be fair to McInnes in the first half of his time here we used to beat the dross in the league very consistently - now we are the dross.
Good points.
Dross indeed, and with COVID thrown into the mix, combined with our tepid performances of late and absolutely woeful results, so many will have lost all interest and may never return.
Who, in their right minds, will want to waste a Saturday afternoon and £30 getting their *******s frozen off to watch such crap next season, even if we are allowed back?
The football over the last two seasons has been quite dreadful to be frank.
At least 4 seasons
Probably 5
If fans were allowed into matches McInnes would definitely be away by now. Only because of Covid has the man been able to cling onto his job. He has made a complete fool out of the so called club footballing philosophy advertising that Cormack etc made public during the preseason.
One thing is definite at our club....Cormack hasn’t the ambition or balls for this job. Very like the man who was in the seat before him.
If anyone remembers the Red Pimpernail who posted on here a few years ago? her name is Sue, if anyone is in touch with her tell her she was right about everything! she was riggght!!
Apart from in her choice of shoes.
