    The “Run in”

Ok we’ve 9 games to go, the way I see it if we beat Southampton, Huddersfield and West Brom at home we will stay up. However I don’t think we will win all of these games so maybe we can make up the difference with points from Everton Arsenal and Leicester.

I think if we go into our last 3 games (Watford, Chelsea and Spurs) not already safe, we will go down.

What’s your thoughts on the run in?

yea 3 wins will gaurentee safety....the first one has to be at the weekend,we divent want to go into 3 week break on the back of a loss...especially a 6 pointer.

our form for a chimpionship side at the bottom is ok,3 loses(citeh twice and liverdip) in 11...with a decent goal difference should see us over the line.....still got slimani to come back asweel.

Agree with ya there Phoney. Out of the three, I think Huddersfield will be the most tricky one. Or it wouldn't surprise that we beat So'ton and Huddersfield and then the Baggies, who will be officially down by then, kick the living sh!t out of us. If we beat two of out those three games and get a point here and there, I think we're safe.

Hard to say though really. It has to be game by game. If we don't beat So'ton on Saturday, I think we're deeply, deeply f*cked.

As a minimum, first we have to win our next two games. If we don't, we'll more than likely drop into the bottom 3 and then it becomes a different ball game. Personally, I don't think we'd be ale to handle the pressure.

Two wins to put us on 35 points would see us within touching distance of the finishing line and I think we'd make it.

Fail to beat both Southampton and Huddersfield given what I've said above and added to where they are in the league relative to us and I think we'll go down.

Mind, if we can't beat them then, to be honest, we deserve to go down.

The only thing that will guarantee safety is if we finish with more points than the teams in 18th/19th and 20th, or at least a better goal difference if on par with points.
I think it's 5 times in 26 years that goal difference has kept a team up.

    Agree with this.

Although i think we'll lose to one of saints, huddersfield or baggies but then make it up with a win nobody expects.

I see that prediction company that are supposed to have the most successful prediction rate have predicted us safe - baggies, stoke and saints down.

Any 8 points from home games will keep us up

if we loose to southampton and west brom we will go down

i think southampton is the key game out of all of them as i think it will be them or us that will fill the 3rd spot a win will put daylight between them and us and take some pressure of for the huddesfiled and west brom game
