The title of the post was my reaction to Livermore’s inclusion in the England squad.

On a serious note I knew a bloke who lost both big toes and although it took a while to learn how to balance again he ended up just fine.

Pity we paid £15 million for him ( I jest! )

Sorry to hear of your travails 53.

My dad had a quadroople heart op there in 2003 and although he died three months later the heart op was a great success,it was actually so good that it lead to his death as the increased blood supply caused a weakened aorta to burst.

I don’t know what you’re in for but the intensive care dept at the QE is world, world class so don’t be put off by the ward they stick you in before your op....that isn’t always such a good experience judging from my dad’s time there.

My daughter suffered a serious burns injury three years ago and the QE were fantastic with her treatment.

If you are in for heart surgery make bloody sure they scan your aorta before you have the surgery!

Best of luck to both of you guys.

It puts into perspective the pain I’ve suffered this week in my right nad due to a urinary tract infection.....that said,it’s the only sensation I’m getting in that department these days!

Not heart mate,I wish, far worse with life changing habits on the horizon, as stated from the off I'm not one to live my life out on a message board but will probably put up a synopsis of my health problem before I go in to serve as warning not to ignore and get fobbed off about your health, not that that is why I'm where I am today but there is a small chance I may croak and don't want to leave it up in the air anywhere,it's also prompted me to sort my will out finally

Whatever the problem I wish you well 53 and I hope you’ll make sure someone close keeps us updated on your progress after the op?

All the best from me too 53.
I've been feeling down due to having the flu followed by a chest infection.
This news puts that into perspective.
