How come it isnt Pardews fault at WBA ghost? When you blame Rafa for taking us down 2 seasons ago.You just twist facts and situations to suit what you say.Pardew the great had more than enough time to turn it round.
The lad who took over at Swansea did so round about the same time didnt he.Look what he has done there. They were doomed when he went in.
Prdew has proved time and time again that he CAN@T do the job, with some clubs he manages for the 1st few months - then that's it, everything goes downhill. with baggies, he couldn't even do that
With WBA he didn't even have that initial spark that he has had at other clubs. He's just not that great. Honestly.
I said there's a lot more going on than just Pardew being a bad manager there.
I said some of it is his fault but he's being made a massive scapegoat in my opinion.
Also I didn't blame Rafa for taking us down. I said Rafa took us down, which he did. I didn't plant the blame firmly on him because I knew McClaren had lost the respect of the players or too soft with them and they took the pee....whichever.
As for Pardew having more than enough time to turn it around. It's not that simple, is it?
It depends on the circumstances of which we are not privvy to in each and every case.
Look at what he did at Palace.
Look what he did when he first came to us...even though Hughton should have been given the chance.
His managerial record is never going to look world class because he isn't that and also 99% of the teams he's managed are a hump on any managers back...or a wing and a prayer if you like...so it's hardly going to be fantastic looking stats in all situations.
However, he's not done anywhere near as bad as a lot of managers and on par with most.
Correction. Rafa did not take us down. He was in charge when we went down but the damage had already been done.
Rafa only had eight games left when he took over of which we only lost one, that was mid table form at least, and the last game was a mighty trouncing of Spurs who almost won the title.
So Rafa didn't take us down. That's the same as saying the hangman who pulls the lever was the man who found the condemned man guilty.
