He’s stepped down from the (high) chair of the ERG. I suspect that if he’d been a member of the opposition, this would’ve been newsworthy. Nothing to see here though, move along

If they ask can Nicola Sturgeon really say no ?

If she did say no, would the Shetlands do one like Catalonia ?

If they did become a Crown Dependancy, if Scotland did get independence who takes Shetland ?

If they were a crown dependency, they would be like the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, so they would have their own government and wouldn't get to vote in British general elections.

    1. Not really although I've no idea where they stand legally.

    2. Probably not.

    3. We'll keep the cod they can have the oil and gas.

Why would they want to have a vote now? Nobody is further forward knowing what is happening with the brexit sh*tshow and even after that we have the small matter of Scottish independence to sort out.

Utter madness the way things are going eventually towns will be wanting to have an independence vote from villages that are about 2 miles away.

Alexander Scott wrote (apologies for pasting the entire text of his poem 'Scotch Education'):

    A telt ye
    A telt ye.
