Why would I want to clap Thursday?
Ah, you mean clap on Thursday.
We don’t live in the USA

My educational thing was Literature when I was at my learning peak. It remains my abiding leisure pursuit. My expertise is in tertiary education vocationally, with transport and distribution, and latterly PPE supplies.
Therefore, I’m no psychologist, but I think I can recognise creeping paranoia when it manifests itself, along with over-compensatory and insecurity-based self-aggrandisement and hubris.
Likewise, the nearest I came to the study of anatomy (apart from appreciation of the adult chassis of those of enjoying XX-chromosomatic make-up and born with those physical features) was reading Ahlberg’s superb Funnybones to the offspring when they were wee. I did once suffer from a chipped ankle bone when faced with a gang of semi-drunk brutes masquerading as a Sunday Welfare League team around 1982, and it was painful. Despite my lack of professional expertise on musculoskeletal matters, I do think, however, that I’m able to identify a chip (not from a ****ing ‘chippy’ FFS) on a shoulder.
And now over to *Judith for tomorrow’s weather.
*iPhone, he no allow pics

Laurel Hubbard representing New Zealand at the women’s weightlifting in the Olympics. I’m sure we’ll all wish her well & nobody has anything to say on the matter at all. Good luck!
Well, if he thinks he’s a girl then we all have to believe him.
Or maybe they could have a separate olympics for freaks.
They used to call it a circus.
I suppose the Caledonian Navy will be mobilised to support Royal Navy manoeuvres in the Black Sea.
It's a pity that it's still a stack of plating, welding rods, rivets and ro-ro ramps at Ferguson Marine like, but with Master Mariner Matheson on the case, we'll get them there sometime in 2026, provided they don't list and sink as soon as they leave the slipway for fit-out.
