If they were a crown dependency, they would be like the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, so they would have their own government and wouldn't get to vote in British general elections.
1. Not really although I've no idea where they stand legally.
2. Probably not.
3. We'll keep the cod they can have the oil and gas.
Why would they want to have a vote now? Nobody is further forward knowing what is happening with the brexit sh*tshow and even after that we have the small matter of Scottish independence to sort out.
