    We will have bid.

But we will deliberately have offered less than what other clubs have!

The first bid is quoted as not reaching the minimum £18m .. So about £10m plus some skazenger tshirts

    Aye.

Then it'll conveniently drag on over the whole window before we lose out leaving us last minute to pick up a cheap striker deal.

    Or am i to pessimistic

Probably be a couple of loan deals right at the end of the window or a bargain basement Joselu type striker but it will be Rafas fault

We bid £15m for a player valued at £27m.. Waiting to see a cheeky £8m for lukaku , £5m for mahrez and £2m for salah.
If it's true about Townsend £18m plus wages , £30m and Rondon £16.5 plus fees and wages £30m ish.. Would you spend £60m on these 2 ?
After the likely sales of mitro, gayle , Ritchie and lascelles(at some stage) we will be left with a god awful team.

People need to stop panicking. There's a long time left in the window regardless of whether the past.... this that and the other happened.... is irrelevant.
What counts is in bringing the right players in, regardless of how much they cost...whether it's free or a pretty penny.

I'm sure we'll spend on the right player for the right price...not overspending on players whose price has been bumped up with not legitimate reasoning.

I'd rather we paid sensible prices of sensible quality that reflects it rather than over inflated prices for players that promise nothing more.

Let's just remember that we are battling it out with 13 other teams and what we have as it stands is plenty good enough to go neck and neck...so any additions do not have to be arm chancing big bucks on players that didn't exactly set the bed alight elsewhere.

I'm fairly sure that we will pay what a player is worth when you factor in the wages of that player coupled with the transfer fee.

Plenty of time left. What a load of sh1te.34 days left in the window and the rate this mob do deals that is not long at all.
We will start the season weaker than we finished the last and that's a fact.
Anybody that thinks different lives in cuckoo land.
Also those who voted for our window to finish before the season starts, all the while clubs abroad can bid for our players till the end of August wants their heads looked at.
