Personally I hope he comes here, I believe he has a great skill set and we need a CM (decent one at that).
Shinnie will be a loss but I feel we missed a trick not playing him regularly at LB and yes i know we were short in CM too.

Can't see McTominay coming to Aberdeen. If he comes to Scotland it'll be Celtic, otherwise it'll be bottom of the table EPL or Championship club. He was meant to be the next big thing in English football at the start of the season / end of last, so he's not going to want to be seen to drop down to somewhere like Aberdeen.
Sounds like they've just added in our name alongside Celtic's so that when Celtic get him it looks like they've beaten us to his signature.
