The problem with Considine coming out and saying this is that it’s not the 1st time like all those times before they’ve been made to look stupid. No doubt one of them will be in the press this week saying they know they’ve let us down and owe us a performance. Everyone knows that a good team could get 2nd this season we don’t need some below average footballer to tell us. A goons speak louder than words Andy probably why he’s only won one trophy in about 16 years of playing.

Maybe because we’ve all heard this pish too many times in the past and we’re fed up hearing it. It’s the same whenever we are on a run in the league “we can beat the old firm” . When we get past a couple early Europa qualifiers “ we can reach the group stages” and when we get to latter stages of the cups “ we can lift the cup” or “we can beat Celtic to lift the cup”.
Unfortunately this never happens and ultimately the players end up looking daft by making comments like this in the papers or social media .

I think no one outside our club really takes what Considine says seriously. He is a bit of a joke figure. Everyone was surprised he got through his 2 Scotland appearances unscathed and admitting otherwise is just folly. No one really rates him and as proven again this season (in Aberdeen colours) he doesn’t turn up for big matches. Players should do their talking on the pitch. The ones that don’t are usually the bang average dross that gets served up most weeks to make our eyes bleed watching the so called beautiful game. Nothing beautiful about opening your gob mouthing off then you and your teammates put in a performance that warrants being arrested for fraud.
