You missed a treat there Spike but I'm sure you are delighted. Big mention for Dykes tonight . Near enough unplayable in that first half. Boy was brilliant and we will miss him.

Dykes just hasn't performed at this level enough times at Queens unfortunately, although good luck to him wherever he ends up.

Because we had injuries and it would have given them a little time to recover plus I couldn't make it due to work !

What a result and a chance to make some cash.

He doesn't score enough goals that's his only downfall but we'll see how much we miss him when he's gone. His work rate is second to none plus his height. Massive loss for us if he goes.

He was on the wing most of his early career for us.

Just been reading that Dobs is the first lower league player to score a hat trick against top league opposition since Colin Samuel struck a hat-trick for Falirk v Hearts in 2003.

Although Dobbie is still well short of big Jim Patterson in terms of total goals scored, I wonder where he stands in terms of the number of hat tricks scored overall. Certainly this season he has been phenomenal in that respect.

5 hat-tricks this season and another 4 since returning to Queens for a second spell....
Must have some type of hat-trick record though...

Superb performance last night. Regarding my comments about Dykes elsewhere, with my concern that his heart may not be in it for Queens. What a load of bollox I talk sometimes. The guy was immense last night.

Well said Sir as it takes real guts to admit that on occasions we can be wrong.

Having just watched Sir Stephen's post match interview his love for our club is there for all to see and we are so lucky that someone of that undoubted ability thinks so much about the Queens. And well done to those responsible for the new banner it is simply wonderful.
