    O/T Victim Tribes

Very interesting article by cultural commentator "Rod Liddle" who believes the Labour Party has now abandoned the working class in favour of championing the rights of "victim tribes", and as a consequence this approach may see the end of the Labour Party.

Interested in your thoughts on this.

For years I though that the Labour Party was trying to make it so everyone is equal as in rights. Womens right to earn the same money for doing the same job, blacks and any other ethnic minority having equality in every aspect to avery day life. I fact it went as far a positive discrimination.

The new mode is that no one wants to be treat as equal they want to sine out and be proud of what they are. I wouldn't go along with the Victim Tribes but proud people wanting to be heard but moaning like crazy when they feel left out. Being equal was seen as the way forward. Being a mardy shyte because you can't see where you fit in and refuse to find a place in society as it is means that the equality that was hard fought is now being used as a tool to gain individuality!

Let them put it on social media and let it stay there!

Presumably you agree with the Labour party on this because you recently voted for the Labour party IBS So let's have your views on why you are backing support of victim tribes. Very commendable of you to be fair.

It has more than a hint of truth in it.

The Labour Party that most northern voters have traditionally voted for has gone.

Whether they are happy to support the London centric Labour Party remains to be seen.

I think we have a unhealthy habit of labelling people

We have names now for every kind of discrimination

    Islamaphobia
    Homophobia
    Antisemitism

Hell we even have names for people who vote a certain way

    Left wing
    Right wing
    Far right
    Brexitears
    Remoaners

It honestly gets on my nerves when you see some tit on news make a name up and the news crew carry it on.

It’s that “gate” thing that annoys me the most.

Watergate fair enough, but adding gate to other scandals.......arrrgh

Socialists have given up on the prospect of the proletariat rising up and taking power and instead believe the revolution can be achieved by a union of various victim groups; LGBTs, ethnic minorities, Muslims, feminists.

This won't work either, there are huge differences between the groups, cracks are already appearing.

    Trans***uals are fighting with feminists.

    LGBTs are fighting with Muslims.

And just what Andy Pandy was doing to Teddy in that basket is best left unsaid.

And Zebeedee was a bit suspect with his “time for bed” demands.

Not all bad news though, Bill and Ben were diagnosed as autistic and got special help with their vocabulary.

Old McDonald later got help with his dyslexia and now says ABCDE instead of EIEIO

I would be delighted to explain it to you Roly.

I left the Labour Party around 8 years ago when it was hijacked by the middle class left who started pushing all the diversity politics. I became even more dismayed when the traditional working class Labour voters kept quiet and even supported the diversity nonsense even though it was clearly dividing the party into factions and promoting fringe issues to the top of the agenda:

NHS, education, working wage all relegated down the order and superseded by "gender pronouns, transgender toilets etc.

Thankfully there now seems to be a backlash to this and I rejoined the Labour Party because I sense the pendulum is swinging back the other way.
