I've just been looking at AFC's home record in Euro ties.

Only 3 losses in the last 20 years.

But away from home, it's not so good...

Flights booked from Dubai and waiting for confirmation on tickets, there was no word on loyalty or DNA points so fingers crossed there are plenty to go around. Still to book hotel/hostel so if anyone has any suggestions that would be much appreciated.

Eintracht were my first game at Pittodrie back in '79, so I suppose that would hold some nostalgic value.
    Eintracht would be good commercially?
    German TV pay good money?
But we’d get horsed in all likelihood.

Aye, if we ended up with Belgrade, I look forward to my derby

Let’s worry about it after the Georgians.

Weren't my first, that was Honved but I remember the Eintracht Game. Bruno Pizzul and Kim Bum Chum (so) stand out as does the cracking kit they had. They'd bang us out for sure so hope to avoid them.

So it is the biggest stadium then. Be lucky if there is 2,000 people rattling about that 50,000+ vast bowl. It's going to be an oppressive heat & no atmosphere. I don't know if they have much of a following but it's a pity clubs can't play at their own stadium for these European matches although it might help us in this case.

With a training session atmosphere at the start of the season, I hope the players are professional and "on it” remembering the importance of the game. There's an opportunity to go a stage further than we have done under McInnes before which would be progress of sorts. Even more importantly, we now know what is required to clear a pathway to the Play Off round, and two games from a lucrative season and enjoyable few months for the supporters.

Anyone any idea on how many fans will likely make the trip? Going to be a strange (non) atmosphere I think in a 50k seater. The pints and that before should be decent though hearing what Tbilisi is like at least. Think this game is going to be tougher than we anticipate.
