Fair point, however, if all the top teams are at home you'd have to be bloody brave to pick an away win .

The problem at the moment is with the limited number of fixtures and the simple win pick formula e.g. nearly everyone will pick Leeds, WBA, Brentford. That goes away if you either (a) have a bigger pool of fixtures for the organiser to list and don't choose the easy ones or (b) make people predict the score.

One point I would note. The pick 5 from 12 formula will break down if/when games get postponed. I'd recommend a formula where everyone has to predict on the same games then everyone is impacted the same with any postponements.

Results are in and although Roly is still on top, he now shares the lead with an impressive slowly built accumulation of points, and is now joined by CTMilller. See Roly you are catchable and I'm also closing in

The golden goal bonus was shared by CAM, Casper and yours truly on 27 goals. Four of us scored 4 points and this sees some moves in the table and Nez moves off the bottom. There are 3 new wooden spoon holders as Parkgate Welfare hits rock bottom, albeit only alphabetically.

Only a few games left so it's anybody's to snatch at anytime.

The penultimate results for this season's PL predictions are in, for 17th, 18th and 19th July and we have a clear leader.

Well done CTMilller as he surges in front leaving Roly trailing in his wake. Those extra bonus goal tallies of late have paid dividend and it sees him go 2 points clear from Roly and another poster, from over the pond, in CAM. He too scored 4/5 well done for that.

Absolutely no one anywhere near the goal tally as a massive, and I believe it to be the highest score ever for a PL tally, 43 goals were scored in total! Who saw that one coming?

Frog failed to post so must be on his jollies? Failing to post has landed him rock bottom with CaytonMiller who appears to be loving his wooden spoon so much, he refuses to climb the table. Like myself, he only scored 1 measly point.

Only one set of fixtures to go so who's claiming this mini league? Will there be a 10 or 15 point er scored that snatches it at the bell?

Nez, my sincere apologies fella. i have you down in my big blue book as scoring 4/5 but failed to add it correctly. I have now done so and well done for 4/5 and climbing out of the bottom set.
