Glad we didn't go for or were we even linked with him I don't know but glad we ended up not, not the sort of publicity Derby needed although it was involved to some extent, wonder if there's some fallout coming our way over it, can't work out if Derby did anything wrong or not

Typical Gibson complaining that they paid more than they wanted to for Christie. Nobody forced him to and according to reports, he made a profit on him when selling to Fulham.
Derby however, went and paid twice as much for Wisdom, can't we complain about that?
