We have outsold the frooty frauds by a factor of 2. By that, I mean we have sold double what they last sold for a league game. That's twice as much. What they last sold, we sold. And sold the same amount again. But because it went to public sale (who'd take a kid to that cesspit), we're meant to be embarrassed? Why didn't they turn up on May 2 2016, why did they walk away?

Tannadice will be full, at least 3 ends, hours before KO. Angus schools will be empty as the teachers will all be awol, the hay will be left unbaled in the fields, tractors will cause a 10-mile tailback on the bridge and the kingsway will be shut in both directions for an Ogden-themed tailgaiting party where everyone wears curlers and a pinny or string vest. But they won't cheer if they score, just a wee handshake and blast on the vuvuzela. Then it's back to the knitting and humming

Can't get chequered dish cloths, face paint or boiler suits anywhere in Angus apparently.....nae idea why.

Here's a thought though, 7.45pm ko....do you wear the shed shades as it's sunny when you leave the house the other side of Montrose, leave them aff as it's a night game and you may look even more ridiculous among the masses of the ridiculous people or wear them but slip them in your boiler suit flap as the sun goes down?

They do complete the outfit for a lot of them.....tough ane.

Will we need shades to tone down the glare if the sun is shining on them?

What’s funny next door is they are yapping about selling tickets, Dundee FC general sale started Monday morning, sold by lunchtime. What’s the issue there?

Forecast is rain so at least no-one will be blinded by the hi-vis dayglo gear which is the norm over there

I think they are working out the ticket per minute rate they sold there's to ours.

There isnae a scientific formula for working it oot properly but statto next door will be trying to.

A spekky United fan was spotted outside the shop with a stop watch and 1980s-style calculator, the one with the big buttons for fatties. Start time, end time, number of people going into the shop per minute, assumption 87% would take two tickets each. Hey presto, you now know the breakdown of tickets on general sale and how many were picked up by season ticket holders

How did he compensate for the free ticket issue?

Just comfortably ignored it I'd imagine.
