‘Twas ever thus...there are some very short and selective memories in football.

Indeed but I am still wondering where the goals are coming from and I could see this coming, unfortunately I don't have much hope that Cocu will be a success and ahve seen nothing yet that even half convinces me.

As for being unlucky in previous games, well I'd say you had rose tinted spectacles, we could just have easily have lsot the ones we drew.

Anyway come the end of November we shall have a pretty good idea of where we are heading, but a season of struggle is already on the cards.

With you on that Swale. We could, quite easily, be on 10 to 12 points already. Conversely, it could also have been 2 or 3 and then the natives really would be restless.

If we are still bottom 6 at the end of November, that will be the time to start the serious worrying.

Take your point Swale. Not sure about ‘rose coloured spectacles’ but I’m less pessimistic and prone to panic than some.
We deserved more against Swansea, Bristol and WBA imo...six or seven points rather than two...but we’re not getting the ‘rub of the green’ at the moment and that’s just how it is sometimes.
My take is that the last three results have left a team, already struggling to gel, bereft of confidence...but it’s early days and singling out the manager and certain players for condemnation at this stage of the season is unhelpful.
Hopefully we can start afresh against Cardiff, although Friday 13th might not be the best of days to wish for that.

P.S. Anyone else struggling with this site at the moment? Usually have to sign in once in a blue moon...now it seems to be five times a day.

You often reference LTLF. You often fabricate stories too.

To be fair you had it right.. Spent a couple of hours in a bar with some Bees and they said they would struggle to score as well. Created loads against Charlton but could not convert. Just shows how bad we were yesterday.
Top 6 remains to be seen but they won’t be far away.
Did you get a chance to look at the new ground? Small but impressive.

Yes I parked in the NCP on Wilkes Rd . We had an hour to waste so we had a stroll up to it Very impressive reminds me of Rotherums New York Stadium hope it doesn't spoil the atmosphere for them when they move

Will be a sad day when they leave. Saw my first ever game there Brentford v Swansea.
Used to stand in the Royal Oak stand with my mates as school kids. That stand was huge.
