Stockport report now up . . . https://www.nottscountystats.com/pos...kport-county-a
Well ultimately the only stat that ever matters is the final sore but what it does do is allow you to dig deeper into player nd team performance. xG provides you with the info needed to created xPTS for example and ultimately compare this to performance to determine if you are over or under performing, luck or unlucky or if say in Torquay's case whether or not their early season form is sustainable or not.
I found your stats on Torquay interesting. I think that often xPTS seems to me to really just confirm what I am thinking in a statistical and logical way. Given I am not very logical and a Grade C maths Student then I will simply listen to my gut and then read your website for confirmation when it comes to Notts!
Stats report now up for the Torquay match. Have also taken a closer look at the player ratings and how we can drill down further on each players overall minute by minute contribution https://www.nottscountystats.com/pos...uay-united-h-1

Solihull report now up. What a difference it makes actually have goals to add up! https://www.nottscountystats.com/pos...lihull-moors-h
Thanks for this. I suspect the key statistics would look very different if shown as 1st half v second half, especially attacks and shots. I think the stats flatter Notts and someone who hadn't watched the game could be forgiven for thinking Notts dominated. Which we did for the last 15 minutes but otherwise not.
And the stats also highlight Knowles contribution - 4 goals and 1 assist in 360 minutes of playing time. It will be interesting to see if Ardley gives him a start soon?
