Let's hope Mattock doesn't rise to any baiting off Toney, the cheating feigning git!. On reflection I wish Mattock had actually stuck the nut on him good and proper.
Yes, strange that Hinds is good enough to captain the Reserves, but not good enough to be ahead of an "out-of-position" player at left back in the first team. Not gone out on loan either, but Cooper and Beeden have. There must be some logical reasons for all this, but not very obvious ones to me. As long as we are doing well, Warney will probably just stick with his trusted players, even if not always in their normal positions

Shame we didn't ask him at the fans forum last week. Would've been a great question.
Maybe this time Mattock did learn something though
He did put pressure on club with having defence
He did help out though by being upstairs for dugout eyes and ears when Barker wasn’t there
He also has a bit of a back problem and hasn't been declared fit yet. It's 50/50 so all this could be a moot point.
It would serve him right if he was left out for a few games because his action against Peterborough were unforgivable for a player of his experience. However, we are at a crucial time of the season, so I think he will return. Wiles to be on the bench and Olosunde at Right back.
What about Thompson? Was playing well until he got sent off. Does he merit getting back in the team?
