We had a bit of luck early on when they missed a couple of good chances ---we have been due that though!
A superb team performance with every player playing his part, including the much maligned Hendrick!
The icing on the cake was Jay Rod's superb goal!

A first League win at Old Trafford in 58 years. Priceless. Lessons learned. Invaluable. It was clear from last night that Burnley had put to good use the experience of that home defeat by United just over 3 weeks ago. A perfectly flighted free kick to the back post where Tarkowski and Mee doubled up on Matic enabling the quick thinking Wood to get the drop on McGuire. That was classic Burnley and Jay Rod’s strike was perfection. No keeper in the world would have kept that out. Whereas Brandon Williams had the run of Turf Moor Burnley fought for every inch of the pitch last night and it showed. After a bright start United were just running into dead ends. This time we went 2-0 up at Old Trafford and didn’t allow the Reds a way back. Lessons learned. Invaluable. Pride in our team. Won by hearts legs and minds. Priceless.
