Israel: A better way of putting this would be. ''Israel is offering the vaccination to all'' Not really ,''At record speed, the government is vaccinating the entire population - including pregnant women and children - against the coronavirus.'' (Children above 16 years !!)

Two sides of every coin! This religious woman is offering how she see's it. Her points are :
1 ) What they have done is created a 2nd class citizen.(?)
I do not feel a 2nd class citizen. I am sure some 200 families in my village also do not feel 2nd class citizens. She is part of the religious community, the religious will hold weddings of 2000 people!! What can we expect of that crowd ( plus many without masks ).
Then what community has the highest numbers of patients with the Virus? Yes, the religious!! No wonder she is feeling like this.

I also hold a ID card, and a passport. They are there for a porpoise . Ok lets scrap them ,then what would be? More crime?

In the years before the state of Israel ,people used to walk over the borders into Lebanon, no passport or I D card, It was open just fields.

This comes after an Israeli group decried the country’s green passport system, which allows only those who have taken the COVID-19 vaccine or developed immunity from the virus to engage in commerce and leave their homes, as “demonic” and a “second Holocaust.”

I go shopping when I want ,plus leave my home? Apart from some curfew? I even if a curfew I leave my home to go shopping or go with my camera etc etc.

barrie : Sometimes when you get to the ripe old age of 94 ,you loose a sense of concentration

Barrie: Its a funny place Israel, we are surrounded by friendly people, In todays world several armies close to us, use the porpoise
to attack ours ships and ports ,but then we also use them and now in the Persian Gulf (where we have submarines on duty) many circle our ships ,so how do we know which 'porpoises' are ours??

I rang the Israeli Embassy in London this morning to enquire about a visa to enter Gaza, they said my call was being recorded for training Porpoises. Might they be the ones in the Gulf Balan?

    Not sure BT, what languages do you speak? Hebrew ,Persian and Arabic, those languages would be excellent. Oh! by the way ''Hag Samaech!;

BT: I do not know why you go though all this trouble to get into Gaza, fly to Egypt ,catch a taxi to the border, ask for Akram ,he owns a tunnel, at the end of which, leads you into the strip,( not a strip club!) tell him you know Balan, then you will get a military escort to where you want to go! Simple really. ''Its not what you know ,it's who you know!''

The father of a Jewish girlfriend of mine in the 1970's always shouted, "Happy Purim" at times of celebration.

He was not happy I was "seeing" his daughter though.

True ,but it depends how religious he was ,you are a ''goy !'' They do not want that ,it's intermarriage! Still her child will be always a Jew. Then as a father you can not lead him into the ways of the 'Torah', a father is obligated to circumcise his son, to redeem him if he is the firstborn, to teach him Torah, to find him a wife, and to teach him a trade.

Just thinking about recent discussions on vaccine passports to get into a pub, I thought I'd check on how we've been doing since we were forced out of pubs five months ago. We were back in Lockdown in November and, apart from the few pubs in T1/2 in December, they've been shut ever since.

In England at the end of October there had been 144,190 patients admitted to hospital with Covid, on March 25th the number had grown to 392,388. That's 248,198 people admitted to hospital with Covid during the five months the pubs have been shut. Wherever that almost quarter of a million people caught a serious enough dose of Covid to put them in hospital, it wasn't in the pub.

In the same period the number of people who have died from Covid has increased from 41,924 on October 31st to 111,392 on March 27th. 69,468 people killed by Covid while the pubs have been shut, wherever those poor souls caught the disease that killed them, it wasn't in the pub.

Nevertheless, despite the vaccine roll-out going well, despite the number of people going into hospital with Covid, and dying from Covid, slowing to a trickle, despite the blindingly obvious fact that it was not people in pubs driving this wave of the virus, that the situation is well under control, there is no pressure on the NHS and the emergency is over, we're not allowed back into the pubs for another SEVEN WEEKS yet.

They continue to treat the public like a dog treats a lampost, and if you believe the polls, not sure I do, the majority of the Great British Public love it.

sinkov, the Great British Public has been conditioned to be treated like this over the last few years. It is all robotic with people asking computers what they should be doing, or asking it to remind them to do things etc.,etc. ad nauseam, therefore, it is easy for those in authority to control them because a large proportion have lost the ability to think for themselves and use their common sense.
