Good to hear from you map. How are you doing?

Johnson’s been caught with his pants down again map, so punitive COVID measures are being introduced as part of his “dead cat strategy”.
Blow Job once wrote how if losing an argument, when facts are against you, in order to distract focus from the issue at hand one possible strategy would be “throwing a dead cat on the table”.
“That is because there is one thing that is absolutely certain about throwing a dead cat on the dining room table,” Mr Johnson said.
“Everyone will shout, “f*ck me mate, there’s a dead cat on the table!”; in other words, they will be talking about the dead cat, the thing you want them to talk about, and they will not be talking about the issue that has been causing you so much grief.”
Time this tw@t did the decent thing and wandered off to the US after dinner speaking circuit and took Princess Nut nuts with him.

Incidentally map, is it really true the Chinese would eat a dead cat?

What the F*ck is going on.
Seems like I was misinformed last night BT, restaurants are not included in the latest mask pantomime, a glimmer of common sense permeates the gloom then. Another glimmer is that I'm reading that a negative test will do for admission to large events as well as a vaccine passport, that makes some sort of sense, a commodity that's been in very short supply during this long running farce. Javed has also knocked back any idea of mandatory vaxxing as well, so all is not yet lost.

But it will be if you and your Lefty chums in the media get their way and force Boris out, the ****storm descending on his head is orchestrated by a media stuffed with lockdown loons and mask morons, they're frantic to get rid of him, and if they do, you and the great unvaxxed are going to find life becomes much more unpleasant fairly quickly. Be careful what you wish for mon ami, the next PM will not be so tolerant of your whims.

I will happily bunker up, stay home and barricade the doors sinkov if it means we can get rid of this cabal of Cabinet Minister Conservative and Unionist Cretins who are being led by a lying, repugnant, blonde-haired, grinning, smirking, clueless clown who can't even lay a glove on his quisling sidekick Sir Kier Starmer. Time to go Boris!

"I will happily bunker up, stay home and barricade the doors sinkov"

I expect it will come to that BT, but skulking at home will only delay the inevitable, they'll come for you in their own time. If they can bring down a democratically elected Prime Minister they will be emboldened, after that, getting a needle into an unvaxxed arm, including yours, will be child's play for them. Welcome to the future.

I can’t believe the UK Government would kill me with vaccine-induced thrombotic thrombocytopenia.

It might be 'very rare' with only 260 cases recorded in the UK, but when it causes bleeding around 70 to 75 percent of patients die.

    No f*cking chance mon ami.

...Molnupiravir Antiviral Pill, already being touted as the "next best thing" and welcomed by the Prime Pig Fluck and his trusty cohort Sado the Aphid... .

First oral antiviral for COVID-19, Lagevrio (molnupiravir), approved by MHRA

The antiviral was found to be safe and effective following a stringent review of the available evidence.

“Today is a historic day for our country, as the UK is now the first country in the world to approve an antiviral that can be taken at home for COVID-19. This will be a gamechanger for the most vulnerable and the immunosuppressed, who will soon be able to receive the ground-breaking treatment.

Doesn't that sound great, caring, tender even !

So - what does a few second search reveal about this this groundbreaking sucker....lets have a look.

    FDA Study.

Molnupiravir: ineffective, carcinogenic, and a global threat

Molnupiravir’s efficacy is marginal at best, but its mutagenicity and carcinogenicity are
real. The tidbits of information published by the UK’s MHRA include bone marrow
    toxicity, suggesting leukemia potential.
The re-analysis of the data in Merck’s press release from October1 shows much lower
efficacy than claimed, even without questioning the conduct of the trial and reporting.
Merck’s failure to publish any paper containing that data is alarming. Merck also failed
to disclose the outcomes from patients who were recruited after the cut-off date for the
    intermediate review.

Molnupiravir damages bone marrow just when it is needed most – to produce B-cells
    producing antibodies against SARS-COV-2.
These facts are grounds for a strongly worded rejection of Molnupiravir.
The Molnupiravir’s potential to rapidly create to more dangerous variants of SARS-
COV-2 has already caught attention of the mainstream media2.
Drugs having mutagenesis as the primary activity have never been used for acute
respiratory diseases, or for any kind of coronavirus.

Early safety concerns accompanied Merck’s molnupiravir, the first potential oral COVID-19 therapy

The lack of long-term safety data concerning molnupiravir could be an obstacle for skeptical patients. That’s especially the case given early conclusions that there are “persistent side-effect concerns with mutagenic molnupiravir,” as a Clinical Trials Arena article observed. That article goes on to cite Ron Swanstrom, a professor at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, who in January questioned “whether molnupiravir could be metabolized into a precursor of DNA,” and then “enter the host cell nucleus, leading to oncogenesis.”

Last year, the former Head of U.S. Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) Rick Bright opposed granting additional funding to develop the drug, partly over safety concerns related to the drug. In a complaint summarized in Science, Bright wrote that “similar experimental drugs in this class had been shown to cause reproductive toxicity in animals, and offspring from treated animals had been born without teeth and without parts of their skulls.”

The Science article also quotes the Emory University chemist Raymond Schinazi who stated that his previous pharmaceutical company, Pharmasset, abandoned a similar drug in 2003 after discovering its mutagenic properties.

UK Approval Of Molnupiravir May Create New And More Dangerous Covid-19 Variants

...missing from the official statements issued by UK regulators and pharmaceutical companies is any mention whatsoever of the potential mutagenic effects of molnupiravir on the virus itself, which I have outlined in a recent article for Forbes. The question isn’t only whether mutagenesis is dangerous for those who swallow the pill. It is a danger to the entire world population, and a glaring blindspot for the review committees involved.

Molnupiravir works by tricking the virus into using the drug for replication, then inserting errors into the virus’ genetic code once replication is underway. When enough copying errors occur, the virus is essentially killed off, unable to replicate any further. If the pill is administered to millions, which will likely be the case if this authorization is the first of many, it could introduce mutations to the virus itself that are significant enough to change how the virus functions, but not so powerful as to stop it from replicating and becoming the next dominant variant.

oh well, for many, guess none of that will mean anything....as doubdtless they're already wheeking for it.

Whoops, the media caught out telling porkies about the unvaxxed, even the great British public weren't buying this one. But they have no shame, for every lie they're caught out on, they get way with a dozen others.
