Show me where I singled out the BBC in my replies as the target of my point.
The BBC was one of many, who had a good go at the story. But when the ESTABLISHMENT of people like May and Hammond were feeding them, it's understandable.

Still evading the point though. Lets crucify someone, yet ignore it when it doesn't go to the gallows.
Contrary to what Swale said earlier, he isn't my hero. I said I have no affinity to Banks whatsoever.
He/you/RA have turned it around as all my doing. It really is quite funny, as in one hand we have the calm it down chaps please. We also have the festering have a pop brigade circling, looking for a chance.

    Nice try any way.
Hang on Thicky, you were using Banks as an example of someone being "crucified" by the press and the "establishment" when its been proven he has done nothing wrong.

Yet you chose a very poor example - firstly Banks organisation was fined for exceeding the spending limits in the referendum.

Secondly, a variety of well respected and well documented sources have looked at Bank's activities and his financial dealings and unearthed enough evidence to suggest that the way he does business is unethical and distinctly dodgy - the fact that no prosecution was brought is not an acquittal. You ignored that bit in my previous response.

If you understood the real world, you'd know that successful prosecutions for financial crimes are rarely straight forward - one only has to look at the few cases brought against bankers and the like. The way money is switched around through various off shore banks and trusts makes it time consuming and expensive to prosecute with a relatively low success rate.

I can only assume your stance is that you believe those people who use complicated schemes to avoid paying tax or even hide the source of their funds should not be subject to scrutiny from the media?

Why on earth would you have that view? Is there something your not telling us oh international man of mystery?
