    Best away day

What's the best away day you have had following the toon

    I can't choose between two

    Grimsby to clinch promotion

Or Metz just do the overall lads week away
Prostitutes ( not me my mates first time ) , knicking the kebab skewer when told they weren't serving Geordies, everyone singing who ate all
The pies to a fat lass not in our end only for her to tell everyone to phuck off in a geordie accent

The singing in the square pre game

Thinking Metz was in the south of France
And only having shorts and t shirts for the trip
Only for it to be phecking cold and snowy
Having to sleep two nights in my Capri as me mate had booked the hotel
    Wrong

    Grimsby
If you were there you would know
    Fancy dress
    Skeggy
Policeman getting knocked of his horse as we all plaid footy outside
And the points to take us up

Canny predictable but both of mine are away at the mackems.

Liam O'Brien over the wall is just one of those games that I'll never forget and get a shiver when I recall it. Told this story before but I'd had a shit load of beer and a dodgy curry the night before and when we scored I was bent double over one of the concrete barriers and thought I was going to shit meself! On the way back me mate had stepped in some **** and, after I'd got out of the car, explained away the horrendous smell in the car by telling the couple who'd given us a lift that I'd shit meself. .....

The other is the 4-1 at the Stade de shite. From the bus journey there with them being apocalyptically angry at us taking the piss from the buses because they'd gone down and the road signs altered to say 'Stadium of Shite', to Chopra's dodgy goal, to Al's penalty and their incandescent rage at him scoring, Charlie N'Zogbia dancing through their defence to score a worldie and even Luque scoring!! to their groundsman having an absolute meltdown, hoying the corner flags down and having to be comforted by his mates as he cried in frustration sitting on the hoardings.

If Carlsberg did away days...although if they did, it wouldn't include the piss that is Carlsberg, ironically.

my lads first derby was the 5-1
watching your son crying with joy as the goals went is was just what parenting is all about
