The two biggest league grounds Notts have played in

This might make for a good pub quiz question if it's the two I'm thinking of, capacity wise. They must certainly be in the top five.

    Any guesses?

Capacity at the time we played there, in a league fixture, were...

    Ground A - 120,000
    Ground B - 93,000

Probably 3rd biggest with its all time maximum capacity of 84,569.

Quite a number of people here would have been alive when we played in Ground B, it was after satellite television had been invented.

Goodison's record crowd was 78,299, so capacity was probably no more than 80k.

Big clue for ground B. Jeff Astle was playing for us that day.

I'm not counting Wembley as it wasn't a bona-fide league fixture when we played there and wasn't a league ground at the time, though has become since with Spurs.

Dwarfed by the two I'm thinking of.
Ground B had a restaurant where you could watch the action whilst you ate.
