    Next up - Hamilton

Motherwell and Hamilton meet on Saturday in a match that current form suggests should be a basement battle. Between them the teams have gone 13 without a win. - External Link

To some degree it'll depend on our injury list and hopefully Long will be back as, 2 weeks ago, he was said to be out for a fortnight and that spell is due up on Saturday. The team will also have suffered mentally and physically as a result of Tuesday's 120 minute defeat and the last gasp loss at Perth. We need to bring in some fresh faces, even although we're down to the bare bones. Lets hope O'Hara is fit enough to start this time.

Our defence is shambolic with Gallagher in it but its even worse when he's not. Accies spies will have been watching us on Tuesday night and they'll think they'll know very well just how to play against us, so for a change we should alter the formation and tactics. Whoever is fit Donnelly should remain in central defence. As to the scoreline I just can't see us stopping them from scoring and a loss is extremely likely.

Changes, both forced and optional, are needed now.

Given our woes just now, I just can't see where the next point is coming from even although our run fixtures isn't the hardest on paper.

Wouldn't be too hung up on whether Long returns for Saturday. The pressing point is putting a defence together that's got half a chance of keeping a pig out a close!
Was dead against the arrival of Tony Watt, but if he's able and fit to play Saturday, he should. OK, his pen was 5hit v St Midden, but he looked very decent overall in his play, movement, effort and bits of quality touches. Jury's still out, but I'll give the benefit of doubt for now.
