Come on Andy you can do it mate.
Club statement
Rotherham United can confirm that one of our supporters, Andrew Wilson-Storey, suffered a cardiac arrest following the recent fixture at Accrington Stanley and remains in intensive care in Lancashire at present.
Having made contact with Andrew’s family, the club have been able to establish that he remains in a very serious condition in hospital, where his family and friends are by his side.
Everyone at Rotherham United, and indeed all associated with the club, would like to reiterate that our thoughts and prayers are with Andrew, his family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
The first team staff have been informed of the news of Andrew’s situation and we are sure that they will be doing everything they can to try and get a result for him tonight.
The club would also like to thank Accrington Stanley and all of the medical staff present on the day who attended the incident for their efforts and we are hopeful that under the care of those in the hospital, he is able to pull through.
Come on Andy you can do it mate.
