    Marriott

Marriott has had minor surgery and according to Cocu will miss "most, if not all" of our remaining matches

Lets hope it sorts his injury problem for good. Great player just doesn't play enough games through constant injury problems!

Hear, hear to that. So long as he’s being fixed for us and not just to sell on.

Best for the lad to move on, what with niggles and Coco's preference for one up front a change may be his best option.
Shame, but sometimes things just don't work out.

Mac you are probably right but I don't think he will be moving till his contract runs out .Remember when he signed the Peterborough chairman chairman saying he was powerless to stop him going because he had been offered ten times what we are paying him .It's a pity because he's a very good player ,but for a feeling it's another Anya situation. Something seriously wrong at the club because this groin problem has been on going for well over a year ,but it's been left again till we are due to resume playing again to try and get it sorted Think Mel should be having a word with the medical staff

Surely the ‘Anya situation’ was a direct result of the ‘Rush situation’, mista...and apart from the fact that both Anya and Marriott are very good players who have massively underachieved at Derby their plights should have nothing else in common.
For me the implications of the Rush years and the unavailability of the likes of Anya and Marriott sum up the footballing ‘tragedy’ that has been DCFC in recent years.
I agree, there has been and remains something seriously wrong at the club, and just imagine what a Championship force we could have been, and how different things might have turned out with the likes of Anya, Marriott, Martin, Keogh, Carson and Lawrence fit, available and undistracted for the last two seasons.
God knows how many black cats Mel must have run over.

Black cats crap in our front garden and their droppings don't half bloody well stink. We are now saving our used coffee grinds and spreading that on the garden as cats, apparently don't like the smell........ oh the irony
