Perhaps Villa will have to self isolate.

Three first team members of Leicester City’s squad have self-isolated after showcasing symptoms of the COVID-19 Coronavirus, the pandemic that is sweeping its way across sport, and the world.
Having played at the King Power Stadium on Monday, there is a good chance that Aston Villa coaching and playing staff could have been exposed.
With the future of this Premier League season already hanging in the balance, this news brings further distress to players, staff, and most importantly fans.

Listening to talk sport this afternoon and discussing if the league will be cancelled. Would this mean automatic religation or would we stay up if it happens?

I think we would stop where we are but im sure the criteria would be to stop at a point where all the clubs have played the same number of games. So, beating / losing to Chelsea would not be the end of the world, we have a game in hand....Newcastle or Sheff utd. That would be the game we have to win and maybe stay up. The way im looking at it, Cancel the season now👍

If the league is voided and we stay up by default we will NEVER hear the end of it, this whole C-19 thing is going to take an awfully long time. Options as I see them are:
1. All PL squads self isolate for 1 month and stay fit on home equipment, arrange testing prior to return - matches played behind closed doors for as long as necessary.
2. Suspend the league indefinitely as once the likely duration is known make plans to finish the season, (scrap the Euros) and move the off-season back.
3. End the season now based on league standings and use a predictor tool for our game in hand - 2 go down and 2 come up, no playoffs OR 2 come up & we have 1 season with 22 clubs with 4 going down and 2 coming up the following season.
