i think its being blown out of all proportion
32 ish dead over the week

you stand more chance of knowing someone who ahds been diagnosed with cancer that with this virus

    talking about lock downs etc

why didnt they put in place curfews when all th egnag members were knifing themselves to death and still are

more people die in road accidents last week than of this virus
why not take all cars of the road

been on the toon this weekend and york on the way home

didnt see anyone suffering or taking it to serious

it isnt ecffecting 1% of the population

    That is true.

However, not the full story really is it.

It double from Friday to Saturday. So yes, it is only 35 dead so far but if the trajectory continues it will rise rapidly same as rest of Europe.

However, I do agree that the media is blowing some things out of proportion which is not helping the matter.

I also think things will get worse before better.

sorry but people are just getting on with life

if you didnt have the tv on or were in a supermarket you wouldnt have known anything was going on
yet you turn the tv on and its like the world has ended

seems to me everyone has lost their minds over this

People like you who refuse to take this pandemic seriously are part of the reason it's spreading so quickly!

The three states bearing the brunt of the coronavirus pandemic in Europe have all recorded their highest death tolls for a single day.

Italy saw 368 deaths bring its total to 1,809, Spain recorded 97 more deaths for a total of 288, and France reported 29 deaths, giving a total of 120.

The UK also saw a single-day record, with 14 new deaths and a total of 35.

Try telling the loved ones of those that died that they have lost their minds!

im not the idiot all goingt to tescos etc having contact with people who may have it

there were more deaths from road accidents than we have had with the virus so far
more deaths from cancer this week alone than this virus

yes its bad but you will probabaly no someone who will be diagnosed with cancer this week than catch the virus

i spoke to someone on the train who thought you died if you got it and didnt get quarantineed

thats how much this is getting blown out of proportion

and a lot of the deaths would have occured anyway
the first few here all had underlying health issues

we didnt panic like this when we had the winter vomiting bug which killed people

just dont cough on anyone and keep clean
seems to be the way to deal with it
it probabaly will get a whole lot more serious

but at the moent i just feel people are hugely over reacting when you put it in context with deaths that happen on a daily basis

they didnt have night time curfews etc when 10 -20 people a weekend were getting stabbed in london alone in a weekend

they dont stop motorcyle people from going on the roads nearly 10,000 people ayear are killed or badly injured thats nearly one an hour do we stop people owning motorcyles
about 50-60 thousand people die from diabeties each year
a lot of these would be the ones stock piling food in case they catch the virus

about 200 people die in work related acidents

yes the deaths may be increasing but we dont get to hot under the collar with deaths or injuries on a lot larger everyday scale
thats why i think currently its getting blown out of all proportion

Just seen on Sky news that 368 people have died from virus in 1 day. Total dead 1809. Absolutely mind boggling. Stay safe everyone.
