Yep, he’s mistaken as swans can’t fly. They’re too heavy.

Just because he thought he was a duckling, and everyone else thought he was a duckling, didn't actually mean he was a duckling.

In fact he was a swan, had been a swan since he was an egg and would continue to be a swan until he died.

Of course, like all swans, he had no bother flying at all.
