I think what Elite and others are saying though is that once the government declares a freedom day, tells places like nightclubs they can reopen, tells people they can now go to nightclubs, it's perfectly reasonable to expect nightclub owners and nightclub goers to take them up on that. I really don't see anything strange about that point of view at all.
The first part of your reply is an assumption driller, you may or may be right.

Do you honestly think as crazyfists suggests that 18 year olds and students haven’t been out for 18 months because that is not what I have seen?

You don’t think it is strange to assume that young people and students have no common sense. At what age does common sense arrive.

By attending a nightclub when the government tells them they can, how are they not using common sense?

You're not being realistic though are you and ignoring that to support your argument which is fine but not really productive. We all know that 99% of 18 year olds who have been following the guidance for 18 months then told that they can go out by the same people who told them to stay in are going to go out. They've followed the guidelines and to those that are thinking they won't get that ill anyway as they're young then they're going to go out. Whether I agree or not you're not looking at the facts that the young thesedays, after doing what they're told, are going to go out when they're told they can. For them they have done their bit as advised by those in charge. It's also unrealistic to expect 18 year olds to act for the greater good as say a 50 year old, wouldn't happen now and wouldn't have happened when I was 18.

In regards to the strong leadership I think your argument is hilarious. We have a PM who would change his opinion if promised 5 extra votes and more and more each day is looking like a homeless person. Patel would sell her own grandma down the river, she's a vile creature. If we had a strong PM from the start who was clear in his and the countries vision, who didn't flop about like a trout on the riverbank and had acted straight away closing borders especially when delta was here then we'd be in a much better position and probably not arguing over whether 18 year olds going to clubs is a massive problem.

Reply with what you want mate I won't respond but I don't need to as everytime you stick up for this government and how they've acted under Covid you're making yourself look a wally. Even how supporters know he's toxic and inept so do the rest of the world, we're a laughing stock so yeah you enjoy this government mate I can't wait till they **** off.

Because they have a choice elite they don’t have to go to a nightclub, maybe I just believe in personal responsibility more than you do.

I don’t need the government to tell me everything and surely with your view on this government that is a good thing.

Read my reply how you like crazyfists I don’t stick up for this government I merely questioned that if we had a solid government as you suggest 18 year olds would have behaved differently.

The contortions that people get themselves into to defend this government are absolutely hilarious. You can see why they still hover around 40% in the opinion polls, it's like a strange cult where the evidence of experts is easily dismissed in favour of a three-word slogan.

'Freedom Day but don't bother doing some things' - didn't have quite the ring to it for Johnson to declare to much fanfare that he has somehow managed this pandemic well, hence the clubs are now open and spreading the virus. But fear not, by the end of September when the horse has well and truly bolted you will need a vaccine passport to attend.

It's an assumption but a fairly solid one. Most European countries have kept stricter restrictions than the UK, and Labour has criticised the reopening.

In answer to your second question, I think your frontal lobe is fully developed at about 25 years old.

So, as an 18 year-old denied any sort of social life for well over a year, you would have decided to stay at home?

Give yourself a pat on the back for being soooooo responsible.

Now you are you being argumentative for the sake of it (ah it’s Elite so) no-one as far as I know iis denying people a social life (did a social live only start on the 19th July) but that doesn’t absolve people from taking care of themselves and others.

We are not at home we are on holiday in the UK but like most others we meet up with are taking some personal responsibility.

Do you take care of yourselves and others Elite?
