    ClaretStore Sale

Anyone taken advantage and bought anything ? Do we presume there is new merchandise coming for the new season ?

Which new season malwayne? The muppets at the FA, EPL and EFL can't decide what to do about this one yet.

There can only be one sensible course of action. Terminate and void this season, have a new fresh start in August. End of.

Have pre-season June. Resolve contracts, buy in new additions and reveal the season 20/21 kit. Simples.

Why? if you're motorcycle racing (probably cars too?) and a race gets red-flagged/stopped after about 2/3 distance you're not re-started; the positions held at the end of the last completed lap are taken as the final result. Other than making an exception to promoting Leeds United, I don't see why football can't do the same.

If I was supporter of Norwich, Bournemouth and Villa and we were getting relegated with 27 points still to play for, I would lose faith in fooooooking humanity!

They are selling stock that would have normally gone on matchdays. Now that there is zero footfall in the club shop they have to get rid somehow. Especially if we have a different shirt sponsor next season.

Your posts 2 & 4 seem to contradict one another BT.

I think that the only fair way is to complete this season, behind closed doors if necessary. As many games as possible should be televised.

With the postponement of the Euros surely we could re-arrange the remaining fixtures for this season and then organise next season, even if it does entail a delay to the start.

I'm never sure whether I am proper thick or you lot don't understand plain phooking English?

I advocated we wrap the season up and move on to August. Is it fair we have teams who are left playing for 27 points and still get relegated? FFS, how hard is that to grasp?

27 points - nine games - 1/4 of the season during which they 'might' do better; I'd suggest that it'd be less fair on teams that've 'actually' already done well over 3/4 of the season not to be rewarded with promotion - except for Leeds.
