    Notts quiz questions

    Three questions.

    1. There are two post war grounds Notts have visited just once for a league fixture (never played a cup tie at either) in which the host team are currently in the Premier League. Name the two grounds.

    2. Who were the last club we beat by six goals away from home in a competitive match?

    3. Household name (people who aren't into football will know who he is) scored his first ever goal at Meadow Lane (it was in a league match), his most recent goal in the pyramid was scored at Old Trafford, who is he?

Southampton is one of them, our only visit to St Mary's a 0-0 in Jan/2011.

Not Brighton, we played at the Withdean Stadium three times.

We've only ever played them away at Vicarage Road, once lost 8-3 there in the Division Three South Cup.

Correct yes, 81st minute in a 1-0 win, he mentioned it on the excellent "Lineker & Baker behind closed doors" podcast a while back, said it was from inside the 6 yard box when he was still being played out on the wing. Described the feeling as "magical".

Correct. We've played at Watford plenty of times. That seems to be a weird, not to mention inaccurate, answer.

To clarify, Watford is not the answer.

So we're still looking for a post war ground we've played on just once (in a league fixture) and the team we played there is now in the Premier League.

Also, who was the last club we beat by six clear goals away - Clue: not a minnow club, it's a big name.
