    Aye, saw that. Surprised he hasn't told them they're essential and need to turn up to work.

    Not the players, though...the country would go bankrupt quicker than it's going to anyway if the Government had to pay 80% of their wages.

    Only club in the Premier League to do so. I thought the great Ashley had the club on a sound financial footing, I thought gate receipts and match day revenue didn't make any difference to the club.
    Well thats the only thing lost at this moment in time so that theory like every other one from Ashley apologists is a complete load of bollòcks.

    Those that do defend him Zipp, on here anyway were always on a piss take. Those in the media, well they are on the pay roll.

    Nope - you can't.

    I wonder if other clubs will now follow suit. One done they won't take anyway near same flack.

    He shouldn't be allowed to do this. It was intended for smaller businesses that would struggle. Not Premier League football clubs with a billionaire owner.

    He shouldn't but they pointed out on news they are writing policy in days that would usually take years and there are gaps.

    And if their are gaps - our **** of an owner will use them.

    barcelona are doing it though the players are paying the staff wages

    and bolton are doing it
