Silly season for the Press.

With no live football to report the press have resorted to making up stories. "A source close to" "Rumour has it" "It has been reported" etc.

Jota to Atletico, or Arsenal, Traore to Real Madrid, or Liverpool, Jimenez to Man U and the Tea Lady to Man City, and so it goes on. They keep talking about the big six. Have they not noticed that we are amongst them. If all they write and print comes to fruition, we won't have a team next season.

Personally I don't think we will lose anyone, they all seem to be happy at the club and there appears to be a strong bond amongst them. They have parties, and socialise together, the players that are not from Portugal are trying to learn Portuguese. It could be interesting to hear Connor Coady's version.

Nuno seems to get on well with all his players so why would they want to move on. Only Greed.

When I started this thread a few reports were surfacing about our players. It has now reached ridiculous proportions with scribes telling players where they should sign. We are being linked with numerous players from all over the globe with statements like "Nuno should sign So and So". I think it best if I stop reading these. I am wasting ***** hours of my life.

Their only purpose is to sell more news at any cost, lies,deceit, exaggeration, creating division, anxiety, hatred, they don't care. It applies to sport as well as politics.

I said earlier that I would have to stop reading all the Media Rumours, however this one does seem to be gaining pace.

It is being reported that we have a very strong interest in signing Portugese defensive midfielder Joao Palhinha. He is on loan at Braga and played a full 180 minutes against us this season in the Europa league. Palhinha, who can play centre back, is reported to cost around 15 million Euros.
