    D. and G. Standard

Starting today 31st March printing reports of classic Queens matches starting with the game v the Cleyholers at Palmy in March 2006 which kicked off the run that led to the Great Escape. The fact that really caught my attention was the attendance - 2,790 - a superb turnout as the Stranraer club would not have brought that many.

I was just looking at the fixture list this morning and this would have been Queens away double header against the two Dundee clubs last weekend and this one.

This isolation is bad enough without reminding me of what I am missing. Or maybe it makes me dream of the next time I will get to Dumfries
