Who Am I Quiz (No 20)

Last one for now as I need to recharge my deviousness. I'll post new clues regularly (at least daily). I won't be responding to guesses until someone is correct. Guess as many times as you like. There's no O/T in the title so obviously it's football related. Here we go. Good luck.

I played for top teams, North and South.

I have a strange connection with a Scottish tradition.

I was an above average goal scorer.

You'd be surprised to learn I only won one major trophy as a player.

Andy Carroll won the league cup with Liverpool, beating Cardiff City in the final, the player has been dogged with injuries most of his career, with Newcastle, Liverpool & West Ham.

Winner. Well done Perigord although with so few clues I suppose some of the others may be technically correct.

I played for top teams, North and South. Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal, Everton

I have a strange connection with a Scottish tradition. As stated on my Wikipedia page, not to be confused with the Unipiper, a unicycling bagpiper in Portland, OR who also has the name Brian Kidd

I was an above average goal scorer. A goal about every 2.5 games.

You'd be surprised to learn I only won one major trophy as a player. 1968 European Cup
