    Lock-down..Suggestions on things to watch

In response to Miss Winnie enquiring as to how I was coping with this “Lock-down” apart from going out for very early door exercise we have been watching T V

Here in my humble opinion are a few great watches

Unfortunately my favourite genre is “Crime”

Narcos = Story of drug king Pablo Escobar ***** Unbelievable watching

Breaking Bad = Starring Bryan Cranston ***** If you ain't seen this I recommend you do

Get Shorty = Chris O’Dowd and Ray Romano & Lidia Porto its a “comical” story of a Nevada crime ring. *****

I'd only seen O’Dowd in I T Crowd his performance in this is superb

Should you like them these should keep you all entertained for the foreseeable….

Anyway guys lets hear your recommendations/suggestions please

More importantly “Stay Safe” everyone you too Bongo !

I almost feel guilty watching comedy while every TV station is talking about the V word!

So im actually playing a lot of COD in the evening, working from home in the day.
I crawl into bed to watch an episode of "Friday Night Dinner" its a bit mad but hey these days are a bit mad.
Youtube is a good way out especially researching but you have to decide yourself whats factual or not but at least you can watch hours of crazy kitten, fails or just music. In between, whats app keeps me entertained with Friends!
    Bit boring, I know.

    # Peaky Blinders, for those who have not watched it it is good option with 6 series and should keep you entertained for a week or two, the secret is not to feast out on it, Take your time.

Some think that there is a war going on right now and in the next few weeks the global elite will be taken down. I do think there is some truth in this and the virus is part of this. Some are blaming bill gates?

Line of Duty is superb for anyone who hasn't seen it, agree with Peaky Blinders & Breaking Bad.

Designated Survivor on Netflix I enjoyed and if you haven't yet dipped your toe into Big Bang Theory it is very good.

Bong - my view is that the virus situation will be used by the global elite to bring even more control over the populations of developed nations. I am sure someone took a pic of me out on a walk where I live (heard the camera go on the phone and she deliberately turned her back as I stopped, couldn't be arsed to have it out as she'd have most likely starting filming and I just wanted a peaceful stroll). There are plenty of busybody snooper types who would be delighted to police us (unpaid I might add).

I’ve been watching a few box sets/series. I’ve always stayed clear of them in the past apart from Peaky, cos I knew that I wouldn’t have the time or dedication to watch them. Now it seems I have all the time in the world, so here’s my watch list up to now.

Ripper Street- Had the box set a few Christmases ago, finally watched it.

Whitechapel- viewed the lot, entertaining but every episode was very samey. Modern-day poor man’s Ripper St.

Hinterland- One for Bongo, Welsh people killing Welsh people, with lots of twists. Never go to Aberystwyth, it’s more dangerous than Midsommer.

Grand Designs- used to be in the trade, so enjoy the building side.

A Place in the sun- Pure escapism, if only I had a spare 100 grand.

    The Ottomans-Documentary film

The Last Kingdom- I’ve read all of the books and enjoy the series.

Designated Survivor couldn't quite take to it (probably not enough hostilities) or requires a higher I Q than mine to appreciate it

    Love Line of Duty 

Adrian Dunbar bears an uncanny resemblance to my uncle George who was a red cap Provost Sergeant from Dunfanaghy in Northern Island a man of few words with a razor sharp wit he tends to call a spade a chuffing shovel
