    THe media at the updates.

“Could you explain why you planted carrot seeds yesterday and yet we don’t have any carrots yet”?

Many of the questions are so inane.

    My favourite from last night's

"In view of the fact the UK is likely to slip into recession is it time to review the decision to go ahead with Brexit?"

I do wish that sometimes the spokesmen would show their contempt for such long winded stupid questions by simply replying with a one word answer. In this case No!

Stupid comment. There wont be an EU after this, already Spain and Italy are disgusted at the lack of support and compassion. It only understands Money, and still never learns. The UK will slip into recession? and no one else I suppose, oh and of course the EU will be fine. lol.

Seems to me a logical question to ask. Why risk further financial hardship on us at this time...

And we aren't making any progress with trade talks because of this virus, so why not either review it or at worse put it back 12 months?

It's a stupid question because no one is interested in the answer right now. We all of us have much bigger problems to worry about. Why anyone should consider wanting to be a part of it when EU PM's are talking of falling apart and Scientific advisers are quitting. Read his reasons for resigning and in one sentence he manages to put a spotlight on just one of the many failings of this dying institution.

PS Do not start a Brexit thread we are not interested

Who started this Brexit thread again...?

And health trumps everything, but the next priority is our economy. So the Brexit question that was posed was a fully valid one, in my opinion.

It wasn't about Brexit it was about inane questions. As I typed it I thought no one is going to be daft enough to drag the Brexit
element into it are they? How wrong can one be?

It was a stupid question because as the Chancellor replied, we have already left the EU. So, whether you wanted to remain in the EU or not, we have left!

My point was really showing how stupid the media is. Asking questions that have been answered three weeks ago.

Agreed but I think they are so desperate to come up with a new question they ask ridiculous ones. There were some classics last night.
