Just like they were happy to accept a promotion in 2012 they did not merit when finishing 2nd was not a promotion place as club 12 (to finally get them up after 8 failed attempts) when most fair minded fans thought Dunfermline should have remained in the top flight instead given Ross County had been promoted as league winners and Rangers died.
