I've had many debates with my MP Wes Streeting in the last few years, a fierce opponent of Corbyn but he's a great bloke and I'm really pleased to see him given a key role.
The Labour team now is on balance more centre than left, and has some great people involved. Shame they give people the ammo with Shah's contentious appointment although to be fair we all make (big!) mistakes. Quite typical of this board though to completely ignore all of the positive changes in the shadow team and focus on the one controversy.
There will undoubtably be a strong remain presence, as labour was, overwhelmingly, a pro-EU party. But that's history now, we have to hope for a positive deal when we actually do leave and get back to electing politicians away from focusing on a single issue.
