............. not all doom and gloom but the Leeds United latest financials are not exactly 'debate bait' either at a £21.4 million loss - ouch.

we are going to be truly hurting if the EFL screws us and cancels the season without us going up. AR bet the ranch he'd make it up this season.

I don't even want to think about it spaldy. When I do let me mind wander I feel seriously angry / depressed that this should happen now, when of course LUFC are one of the few teams who would be drastically badly affected by it. Perhaps we really are cursed???

thought the same thing on the cursed part. that ball really does not bounce 50/50 for us.

However, there is hope. If the Chicago Cubs can win the world series after 108 years and the St Louis Blues can win the stanley cup after 52 years then we can go up! Had some breaks to get out of League One and we did get lucky with the hot spell right before they shut it down.

Surely it will be the Government that will screw you and not the EFL. In any case the EFL would put it to a club vote like the National league have just done.. You have to feel sorry for Barrow ,unless they are given auto promotion, but then you will have clubs suing the league if that happens.

Leeds and West Brom won't be given auto promotion that's a certainty as they were only a few points clear..The reason being ,like above clubs will be suing the EFL.

Personally I can't see any football starting until end of July at the earliest ..Maybe they will finish the season off then behind closed doors..If they cancel the season ,I'm sure you will be up there again next season .

Your only hope is that they finish the season off in July..

Well, the way talk has gone over the last 48 hours it's looking quite possible that there'll be no mass gatherings allowed for the rest of this year, at least. If that's the case then even if we manage to get the last 9 games completed behind closed doors, (and of course we get the results needed - not a given, especially in such a strange environment), next PL season might not start until 2021, or if it does it'll be behind closed doors as well. And god only knows what kind of effect no attended football for that long is going to have on us and every other club. It's all pretty sh1t really.

Panic-stricken headless chickens springs to mind.

If Viet-f00king-nam can "survive" with NO Covid-9 related deaths, with a healthcare system that simply doesn't have western-type capabilities, and where it shares a land border if hundrds of miles with China, can someone explain why we are gong back to the dark ages and the time of the great plague in our reaction to a virus that finds it VERY difficult to kill even young children and those elderly who have few if any underlying health issues.

And that comment has little to do with the season restart, just a symptom of the stupidity of the current reaction, same as respected scientists suggesting we go round wearing home made masks made of torn up t-shirts and kitchen paper (cue next panic buying spree of all related paper goods!)

    Pathetic

Well, just goes to show how f00king useless your education was.

Don't care how much Leeds lost, or if they go up, just absolutely disgusted that (yet again) this countrys politicians are running scared of "the fifth estate" (look it up) and that supposedly responsible SCIENTISTS are suggesting we go round resembling something from Mad Max. Really, REALLY don't care about the season, whether it finishes or not.

As for Bumley, mid-table mediocrity kind of par for the course, hmmm?

Yes, it's been shocking the death rate in Belarus and Sweden. Masses of dead people in the streets since they didn't shut their country down. The greedy and selfish *******s. There selfishness ensured that all of us will die.

It's also been amazingly brilliant on our politicians part on how effective the quarantine has been on containing the infection rate. The recent test study in NYC showed that 20% were infected and had recovered and had no symptons. LA had a 30% infection rate and a homeless shelter in Boston had a 55% infection rate with no symptoms. It could have been 5-10% higher if we had not shut down the economy. it's a good thing that our ruling overlords care so deeply about us and selflessly serve us.

Just think of how bad it would have been if we had not shut down the world.

It's the most infectious disease in the world right now and some discussion the most in the last century. we will all be infected by the end of the year. Nothing is going to stop it. Our chinese friends ensured that when they bio engineered this virus.
