Maybe I'm missing something but are fans groups not composed of people like us, i.e. fans? Since when did that become a crime?

You could well be right J

Looking forward to 'our' statement as a member from the start, although I'm not on the elected steering group, who are elected at each AGM. Any member can put themselves forward. No board seats nor lanyards are sought.

FAO those mouthing off....its pretty transparent what the aims are.....have a look at the website.

We are, as per our constitution, simply not going to hand money over without explanation as what it is going to be used for which is proper due diligence, and it being approved by the members.Rather than mock - if you are genuinely interested ask questions of the steering group. (The Foundation consulted widely on setting up, and took elements of the Foundation of Hearts and the Motherwell Foundation on board).

If not save your bile until you are aware of the facts.

Cheers - not looking to fall out with anyone on this board as I rarely post these days and not interested in replies really.

Just give the guys a chance to put their side of the story.

    FTD Always.

I could well understand your post in the Thompson era. We need this like a hole in the head just now at a time we all need to be United.

Cheers mate. It would t matter if it was Francis of Assisi or Ghandi as chairman. Unless it's clear what purpose the 100k plus money was for then without any consultation with the members it just wasn't going to happen. The Foundation steering group were looking to invest in the youth development but looks like somebody at the club (not the chairman) spat the dummy out

Exactly. Needless stuff. Why even try piss Ogren off with regards secured loan and other demands, he has come across as a good guy and look what he has put in already, on and off the park.

Anyway, they aren't a partner anymore so won't be any more dialogue, the wider fanbase will stand by the club during what will hopefully be a continued positive period when things settle down in months to come
