    spfl resignations

should be forthcoming ,after declaring the dabs etc champions * they never even had the decency to tell Thistle etc that they were indeed relegated(sorry thrown down a league).

Five mins passed before they were obviously told to add that part, absolute farce.Thats correct the teams chucked down divisons were not even included in the original speech.

A huge FARCE from start to where we are now,i dont think we have seen the end of this yet, much more folly yet to come.

What happens if SPL clubs vote to null in void, or vote against relegation, and then stick two fingers up to reconstruction, not impossible in my opinion, does it mean teams are declared champions but go nowhere 😜

It has been well reported that the SPFL board of directors discussed 6 options before deciding that the option to immediately end this season was the best option and the clubs wre given less than 48 hours to vote in favour of the motion which was the only way that the end of season payments could be released to the clubs. Nonsense.
In an interview with Tom English just published on the BBC website Ann Budge owner of Hearts and a former SPFL Director states that when she was on the SPFL board of directors a member club who was in financial difficulties asked for a loan which was granted.
The end of season money could have been advanced to all the clubs in the form of an interest free loan until the 2019-20 season was played to a finish.
However if that had happened it is highly likely that Brechin City FC would have faced an end of season play off against the winners of either the Highland League or the Lowland League with the winner playing in League 2 of the SPFL.
If Brechin City FC had lost the play off matches then their chairman Ken Ferguson would have had to resign from the SPFL board of directors as Brechin City FC would have been playing in the Highland League next season.
