Have to disagree. Micky's mum was spot on. I happen to be a very good soup maker, taught by a professional dontcha know.
Smoked bacon, winter veg and lentil broth is a work of art. Takes a while and a lot of care. Day 2 it tastes good but day 3 it's even better.
